June 10, 2010

Hmmmmm ... It's about time for some new posts here.

For those of you that don't know, Michelle and I are moving to Colorado Springs, so we've been quite busy lately.

We have managed to get a fair amount of fishing in, just not enough extra time to blog about it!
I hope to get online and put up a few tales soon.

Hang in there!

  2. Jeff and Michelle .... We have been following your blog for a couple of months now. So fun to see that you are making a move to Colorado Springs. I have lived here for 54 years and raised our family here.Loving every minute!! Hope your move goes well and if you are ever interested we fly fish 11 Mile Canyon at least once a week. We would enjoy getting to show you the river and meeting you both.

May God bless your move ... Jim

  3. Hey Jim,

Thanks for tuning in. Yeah, that would be great to meet up with you sometime soon! I fished 11 mile once a long time ago, but have wanted to get back there.

Our life is a little hectic, now through about the end of July, but we should try and get out sometime after that.

  6. Jeff, selfishly I wish you weren't moving because I really enjoy your reports on the Gunnison, Taylor, and surrounding rivers. However, I'm sure you'll enjoy all the water on the other side of the mountains and have some great reports from there as well... Good luck on the move!

  7. Hey David,

Thanks for the compliments. I'll miss reporting on those rivers too! Sadly, one reservation Michelle and I had about moving to C. Springs was not being as close to good fishing. It's hard to move from "fishing out your front door" to "fishing is an hour and a half away".

Stay tuned in though, I've got a lot of trips I'll be posting soon, and should start getting out on the front range rivers here soon!
